Remember to breathe
In through the nose
Out through the mouth
Simple human nature, yet I seem to forget such things. Minutes tick by on the clock, the sun rises, the sun falls. The stars blink and then it's morning again.
The days take forever to pass. One piece of sand at a time. Drop...drop...drop...
Do you ever feel like you're invisible? Not completely gone. I'm standing there, you can see me, but you don't see me. Same person, same clothes, but if you look a bit more closely, perhaps pay attention a wee bit more, am I really the same? Or has something gone wrong? Have my emotions twisted into a knot and cut into me so deeply that you have forgotten what I used to be like before? Do you remember me?
What would it be like to see the sky from another place? To get away and see it from the other side. Grass is always greener they say. But what if it really is? Have you tested that theory? I did. When I moved from Florida to Colorado, the grass was greener. The ground is unfertile around here now. Mostly dust and dying dreams.
This feeling is dreadful. It's eating me alive. The pendulum must swing again. Isn't there something about what comes down must go up?
Breathing...just breathing...
I see you. I hurt for you. Im here for you. And I love you!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I am not as invisible as I feel. I love you too.
